Nottingham Forest have enjoyed a very good season so far and Samba Sow has been key to the success Sabri Lamouchi’s men have had.
The midfielder joined prior to the start of the campaign but it became apparent quickly how important he would be to the team. That’s evident by the results the side have when he plays, with Forest averaging over two points a game when Sow features – form that would have them top of the Championship if spread across the season.

Unfortunately, injuries have restricted him to just 18 league appearances but the ex-Dynamo Moscow man is certainly appreciated in the East Midlands. With Sow turning 31 today, the club took to Twitter to wish the player well on his big day and it brought plenty of responses from the fans as well.
