I think the best way to describe most of these answers would be a ‘cop-out’.
But in fairness, I can’t really blame them.
Nottingham Forest have made huge strides forward this season, currently only 11 points off where they were last season with 13 games to go, and whilst some of that credit goes to head coach Sabri Lamouchi, the rest must go to the players that have been brought in.
Players for instance like Samba Sow.
Given that he leads the team in tackles, is third in interceptions, second in dribbles and sixth in blocks, it’s fair to say that he’s been a vital part of how the team has set up this season, but the question is, has he been the best player brought into the City Ground this season?
That was the question that @CityGroundHQ asked on Twitter, and it led to a rather interesting debate amongst the fans. There were some who were adamant that he was, probably backed up by the above stats, whilst there were others who felt the title should go to the other Samba, goalkeeper Brice, no surprise given the love he’s got this season.

Yes but in the same sense I think Riberio and Samba have been as important as he has

Well, considering our results without him in the team, yes!
