You know when they say that certain moments are ‘turning points?
Either over the course of a season, or just a single game? Well if you go to the dictionary tomorrow, you might just see a picture of this man standing next to the description.
With Nottingham Forest holding on to a 1-0 lead against Leeds United last night, goalkeeper Brice Samba pulled off a quite spectacular double save to keep the visitors at bay. Given the amount of pressure Leeds were piling on at the time, one goal there might have led to another, and then we might not have got that magical moment right at the death from Tyler Walker.
I think it was more the theatricalities of the whole incident that really got the fans talking.
Now it should come as no surprise that something Samba does would get great reaction from the fans, he’s got form in this area, but given the significance of the save, they really ramped up the praise for the Congolese shot stopper, as they took to social media to stress just how much they loved that moment.
Amazing save. Most would’ve just starred at it or too slow
