Talk about making a good first impression.
If he’s this impressive on the pitch as he is off it, then we could be in for a real winner.
One of the deals that the Reds made in the last few days of the transfer window was the transfer of Nuno Da Costa from French side RC Strasbourg, and although he has yet to make an appearance in the Garibaldi, he looks to be settling in quite nicely into procedures at the City Ground. In fact you might say that he’s settling in a little too nicely.
At least that’s based on the fans reactions to one of his first interviews with the club.
Speaking at an event this week as part of the Nottingham Forest community scheme, he gave a brief insight into what his first few days have been like on Trentside, and his responses blew the supporters away.
Not only what he was saying, but the way that he said it as well, with many fans using his interview to compare him with another fan favourite at the club, Brice Samba. Although given the amount of time the two have spent together, that shouldn’t really be surprising.
Speaks better English than most of the supporters

Alot is made by us of getting the right players in not to upset the vibe and players who fit in with the squad and he seems to fit right in on that score! Now Lets just hope he can ‘finish’ with a football !

Is Da Costa the answer to our 'problems' when it comes to resting Grabban?
Yes
No
Let’s hope he goes on to make the same kind of impact up top that Samba has had in goal.
