You might as well start the new year off on the right foot.
So what better way to spend the early part of the new year doing what exactly what we did for a large part of last year, and that’s taking a moment to praise goalkeeper Brice Samba. He posted a ‘Happy New Year’ message on his Twitter feed, featuring a montage of some of his best moments so far in a Nottingham Forest jersey, showing off some rather remarkable saves.
It was just a cheeky reminder of just how good he has been for the club so far this season, and perhaps a subtle reminder that the Reds could have been a little bit higher up the table if they didn’t go through the early part of the season with Aro Muric between the sticks.
And there were a number of fans who took the chance to not only praise him for what he has done in the past, but used it as an opportunity to send the message that they hope this sort of thing carries on into the future.
