So this was meant to be ‘the game’ that we’ve been looking forward to since the first game was called off due to rain.
Ever since then the club have had ‘a game in hand’ dangling over them, not we just had to see if they could make it actually count, or if it would all be for nothing and it would go down as a huge opportunity missed to catch up on the top two spots in the division.
But with Reading going through a bit of a purple patch recently, it certainly wasn’t going to be easy.
And in a similar result to when the two teams met a couple of weeks ago, Forest would take the lead late on, only to find themselves pegged back by the Royals with an even later goal to equalise. After the game, the feeling amongst the Nottingham Forest fan was more or less one of resignation and frustration as the fans felt that it was two points dropped, with many pointed out how they managed to pull off the same result, in more or less the same manner as last time.

Big points dropped. Gotta sort out the mentality for when we go one goal ahead and need to hold on!
Onwards! #COYR

Was this game 'two points dropped'?
Yes
No
Let’s just hope this doesn’t come back to haunt us later on in the season.
