Talk about a kick in the teeth.

It’s not a major setback in terms of the season, it still leaves a pretty sizeable gap between us and the teams chasing 7th place in the league, but the manner in which it happened, and who our opponents were, probably makes it incredibly hard to swallow.

Forest were denied the chance to go ten points clear in the playoff picture, when a late, late goal from Chris Martin meant that we had to settle for a point at Pride Park. Joe Lolley had put the Reds 1-0 up in the first-half with a fabulous strike, but despite dominating them in terms of shots and shots on target we couldn’t quite put the game away.

Do we still have a realistic shot at the top two?

Yes

Yes

No

No

So when the final whistle went, there was plenty of anger amongst the supporters, with one man in particular coming in for severe criticism for his role in the late goal.

What about you? What do you make of that result? Who do you think was at fault?

  • Chris says:

OK so he had a bad game, he’s had plenty of excellent games all season and was clearly man of the match against Bristol. Get off his back you morons. Onwards and upwards. Derby are shit – They can forget the playoffs unlike us COYR
