Are we about to have some controversy at the City Ground over the coming days?

Well we would do if the fans had any say in the matter, and in an ideal world, they would do. Maybe Ebbsfleet United were on the right track all along?

Nottingham Forest defeated Fleetwood Town last night in a, less than comfortable victory at the City Ground. Tiago Silva got the winner, but despite the brilliance of the finish, he was by no means the star of the show.

That man was goalkeeper Brice Samba. Having arrived at the club the day before the summer transfer window ended, there was a lot of talk about what his role was going to be, but Sabri Lamouchi was quick to point out that he was a signing ‘for the future’.

However, if he keeps performing like this, then that future might be closer than we think. He certainly made an impression on a lot of Forest fans with his performance last night, and although Aro Muric is still number one, a few more mistakes like he had against West Bromwich Albion and we could find ourselves with these two keepers switching places.
