I don’t think the images are going to go down in the annals of history in the same way that Paul Ince in Rome and Terry Butcher against Sweden have done.
But who knows, if this season ends up a successful one, then they might just go down in the annals of Nottingham Forest history, and at the end of the day, isn’t that all you can really ask for?
Sabri Lamouchi’s men pulled out a crucial 1-0 victory over Bristol City last night to solidify their place in the playoffs, and keep themselves at arm’s length with the top two in the division (so it’s not totally over yet), however they didn’t escape the game totally unscathed.
Do we still have a realistic shot at the top two?
Yes
No
Joe Lolley picked up an injury just before half-time, whilst Ryan Yates and Matty Cash both picked up some serious knocks leaving them looking very worse for wear, although they were both smiling about it afterwards.
But it was the commitment to the cause that really sparked something in these Forest fans, and they let the players know about it on social media afterward.
Great commitment boys give the same on Saturday against them sheep 🔴⚪️
