On the whole, it was a pretty successful night for us.
A BIG three points, as the club’s Twitter account put it. It’s a result that puts us seven points ahead of the team in seventh place (who we just so happen to be playing on Saturday, to add some extra spice to proceedings), eight if you include the goal difference disparity, it very much puts us in the driving seat for the playoffs.
However, there was one very concerning sight for the side, and it came before half-time.
Joe Lolley, who has been a crucial figure for Sabri Lamouchi’s men this season, contributing 17 goals and assists, second only behind Lewis Grabban, appeared to suffer an injury in the dying stages of the opening 45 minutes and was replaced by Nuno Da Costa.
Should Joe Lolley start against Derby on Saturday?
Yes
No
And given the importance of the game, not only last night but coming up on Saturday, there were plenty of concerned faces amongst the Forest faithful.
Bad news!😞

Real shame. One of the better players as usual

Lolley subbed. Hope it’s not serious. #NFFC

If Joe Lolley is injured we’re going to end up finishing 10th #NFFC

Hope that’s not a serious one for Lolley, precautionary ahead of Saturday #NFFC

Hope that’s just a precaution rather than a proper injury for Lolley #NFFC

What about you? Are you concerned by the Lolley situation?
