So that’s it, we’re going into the final game of the season still needing a point to make sure of our playoff place.
It would require a monumental shift in terms of goal difference to compleltey dislodge us if we were to lose, with us currently on a five-goal head start above Swansea City, but if we are to seal our first playoff spot since 2010/11, then we’re going to have to wait a bit for it to be confirmed officially.
We’re being made to wait by virtue of a 1-0 loss away at struggling Barnsley, a result that certainly meant a lot more to them than it did to us and it showed. It was a game that we didn’t seem to want to do much attacking in, given that we started with five defenders on the pitch and spent a lot of the game on the back foot.
Should Forest be relying on other results in the play-off race?
Yes
No
And when the full-time whistle went, there was plenty of anger amongst the Forest fans on social media, pretty exasperated that we blew a chance to wrap things up when we had the chance.
Got exactly what we deserved – nothing – forget the home defeats to Sheff Weds and Millwall that is the worst performance of the season

I’d say this is unbelievable but it’s actually the most Forest thing ever.

We can’t do anything right can we

Ridiculous, I thought sabri was a good manager. But when you look back at the season it was dumb to even think that sitting back with 30-40%possession every game would work.

Far too negative as usual, if anyone thinks that this football would work in the premiership. You are a bigger dreamer than me, and that's saying something. #NFFC

Bottling it should never have played so defensive defender should have been taken off along time ago

That was an absolute disgrace. Believe in Lamouchi and think we’ll be ok to be in the play offs but the team should be utterly ashamed of that insipid, zero effort performance. We didn’t want it at all.

What about you? What do you make of that result?
He needs to make changes for stoke game as ameobi Silva lolley and bostock should be in for the stoke game and he should be playing 2 up front walker and grabban or either walker and da costa also darikwa should be at right back so the team I would play against stoke in a 4-4-2 would be smith, darikwa, dawson, benalouane, ribeiro lolley , Silva, bostock ,ameobi , da costa , walker
Total garbage, don’t think nffc won’t to go up. We’re did the team go that drew at Swansea.
Absolute laughing stock, no passion.
One team desperate to stay in the Championship – sorry make that two teams desperate to stay in the Championship.
I still think forest can do it . All about the playoffs a two legged tie n the a massive final .I’m not afraid of any of the other teams in the playoffs n think th hat they might celebrate the fact they got forest not Fulham Cardiff or wba/brentford. That might work in our favour. Forest much better against a better team but yes today was v poor
My heart sank when I saw team
Doesn’t Sabri realise that the best way to defend is to attack
Tom Ince will be busting a gut to score on Wednesday
We are getting worse – defensive, negative football is not the Forest way. Carvalho not even on the bench again.
I would rather see 2 attackers at home, but if we play 4231 then we need a good attacking midfielder behind Grabban – we have one, but Lamouchi won’t play him!
Why dose the manager keep changing the team i dont think we will beat stoke if we do get into the playoffs we wont stand a chance i hope i am wrong good luck we will need it.
