You can tell that the international break is coming up, can’t you?
There’s not a lot to talk about in terms of games, and everyone is just scrambling around for stuff to talk about. It’s not the best way to pass the time, but it’s fun and it does occasionally bring up an interesting topic for discussion.
Like this one for instance.
@martynbigdog posed a question on Twitter yesterday that is somewhat relevant to the news that Forest’s head of scouting Tommy Johnson could be set to be on his way out of the club.
So #nffc fans, out of all the new signings who’s impressed you most so far?
All have had very good starts in general but a few have definitely stood out above others.— martyn (@martynbigdog) August 28, 2019
I say relevant because Johnson would have played a part in bringing those players to the attention of the manager.
And it certainly got a lot of Forest fans talking, although everyone we didn’t come to a conclusive answer, let’s face it it’s not as if they’re short of options to choose from.
Sabri Lamouchi.

You'd be forgiven for thinking adomah would have been another journeyman but he's been outstanding, should have got him before villa did!!.better late in this case than never!

Samba Sow. I expected him to be average at best and he was written off by most before he even kicked a ball. Good engine on the lad, wins most 50/50s, can carry the ball, and even has a bit of flair. Great signing.

Samba Sow is a beast but has dancing feet & Samba Brice just oozes confidence but like you say all so far have been superb for me & genuinely believe they have more to give

I suppose that’s really a testament to how well the window went if fans can’t decide who the best signing is. It means that the club has made so many good signings that they can’t distinguish one that stands out above the rest.
Who do you think has been Forest’s best signing of the summer?
