It was certainly a major turning point in the game.
And who knows, it may turn out to be just as big a turning point in the context of the whole season.
I’m talking of course about Brice Samba’s, how can I put this? Less than conventional save during our 2-0 win against Leeds United back in February. With the Reds holding onto a 1-0 lead at that point and under huge pressure from the visitors at the time, who knows how the game might have ended if he’d have misjudged it and made a goof of himself.
Luckily he didn’t though and Sabri Lamouchi’s men went on to claim a vital victory in our hunt for a top 6 spot in the division.
Is Brice Samba the best Forest keeper since the year 2000?
Yes
No
So when the club decided to relive the moment on social media yesterday, showcasing it as their ‘save of the day’, fans were keen to flock to the comments section to talk about just how impressed they were with the moment of magic.
Second part of the save was brilliance but I thought he could of done better with the 1st part

Yeah me too. Thought it was over the line at the time. Wasn’t until watched it back saw what top goal keeping it really was.

Tremendous reactions on the double save….seemed no way he could get back and punch clear before it crossed the line. 👊😍😎 #NFFC

Let’s hope we get to see more of them when and if the season resumes.
