It looks as if the writing is on the wall.
At least it would be if these fans had any say in the matter.
@CityGroundHQ posed a question on Twitter yesterday, asking fans if they believed if 25-year-old goalkeeper Jordan Smith had any future at the club.
Former academy graduate Smith has played 49 times for the Reds throughout his career, but apart from a long stretch in 2017 into the early part of 2018, he hasn’t exactly been a regular in the Garibaldi.
Does Jordan Smith have a future at Nottingham Forest?
Yes
No
And with someone like Brice Samba, someone who is thought of very highly indeed by the Forest fans, and has managed to establish himself firmly as the club’s number one, it’s going to be very hard to imagine him getting into the first-team in the near future, which is perhaps what prompted the question in the first place, and probably what led to the more or less unanimous response when it came to his future.
Nope

He’s a loyal Forest Fan I’ll give him that but I’m not sure he’s Championship standard and should we go up he’s not Premier League standard at all

Still young for a keeper and has potential. Aspects of his game that he needed to work on but I think he has something to offer and could still prove to be a contender for number 1 in the future.

No. He’ll end up like dimi did. Loyal to the club but only gets a game once in a blue moon. Sadly he’s not good enough for the championship.

Unfortunately not – and he’s as good as certain others!

He’s been a loyal lad but his only chance at a start would be in a cup game against lower opposition.

Would it be worth us at least keeping him as backup?
