Well, I’d consider that quite a considerable boost.
Not just in terms of the result, but also when it comes to the fitness of one of the more vital players in the squad.
When Nottingham Forest made their first substitution yesterday, withdrawing Samba Sow and replacing him with Sammy Ameobi, it left a number of fans feeling rather nervous, as the replies to this tweet indicate.
And given that he leads Forest in a number of defensive categories including tackles and interceptions, if he was set to be out for another long period of time, who knows what sort of bad vibes that might have sent thorough the fanbase if he was set to be out for another long period of time.
Luckily though, it turns out that there isn’t much to worry about, as the Malian revealed on his Twitter account that he only suffered a dead leg and that it wasn’t anything that will keep him out of action for a while, something that came as great news to these Nottingham Forest fans.
An absolute beast in the middle

Is Samba Sow our most crucial player?
