Just be glad these games don’t count, otherwise there would be total chaos.
Last night Nottingham Forest played out a goalless draw against Dundee in Murcia, Spain. In the 28 degrees heat of the Spanish summer, I don’t think we can be too angry at the players if they decided not to go 100% last night.
After all, as much as pre-season is about working on tactics, a lot of it is about getting your fitness up and not getting injured, we don’t want any of them getting heatstroke before the competitive games even start.
Although Forest created a number of chances, they weren’t able to convert any of them. Whilst a lot of credit should go to the defence that was rather porous last season, particularly in the latter stages so to keep a clean sheet shows that something’s clearly working on the training ground.
But how did the Forest fans react to last night? Well let’s just say there were mixed reactions to the whole affair. Whilst there were a lot who took the positives out of keeping a clean sheet and staying unbeaten in pre-season, there were a couple of fans who didn’t share the same sentiment.

There were even a few instances of in-fighting amongst the Forest faithful, with fans taking the opportunity to turn on each other, with one fan even going a bit further than just disagreeing.
Can’t believe I’ve actually read people saying that a 0-0 draw with Dundee means we’re going down this season ???? honestly, some Forest fans are a rare breed I tell you… ????????♂️

I wonder how the anti-O’Neill brigade would have (over) reacted to a result like this under him? Now everything will be fine though no doubt.
