Whilst the result might not have been the best, at least the manager’s saying the right things afterwards, although that depends on your point of view.
Less than a week into his role at the City Ground, Sabri Lamouchi said after his side’s goalless draw with Dundee in Spain, that he saw a lot of positives in the performances, but also plenty of negatives.
Speaking to iFollow Forest, he also talked about how he felt the trust shown in him by the owners in giving him the job, gave him a responsibility to – in his words – ‘give back’.
This was the Frenchman’s first pre-season game fully in charge of the Reds, as he watched Saturday’s victory over Alfreton Town in the stands.
Whilst there will be some teething problems with the players as he gets to grips with the language, it looks as if he’s convinced a few of the Nottingham Forest fans to get on board with his methods already…
I hope we all can grow to love him

Let’s get behind the manager and give him the support

Very good first interview, Sabri Lamouchi comes across very well and I think his passion will rub off on the players too. Seems to know we still need to add some quality as well. Let’s all get behind him and help him achieve #NFFC

Really like how he comes across already!

I have to agree I’m starting to like this new guy very honest

Although there are one or two who will need a little bit more convincing. In fact, there’s one fan who isn’t even going to try and get enamoured with the Frenchman, because he doesn’t think he’s going to be around for much longer.
Sounds like a shopping trip to Meadowhell with the ex-missus. Saw things we like, then things we didn’t like. So we walked and walked and walked some more.

Do you know I’ve heard the same stuff from 13 managers over the past decade, so I don’t care what the new guy says. All I care about is us succeeding. He also better get a move on in the transfer market as last year’s squad clearly wasn’t good enough and so far it’s the same one.

Not going to bother. He’ll be gone by October. #nffc #shambles
