Well. I don’t think you can ask for much better can you?
Forest 3 – 0 Derby, just keep saying that, you’ll never get tired of it.
Forest took the lead in the 25th minute when Albert Adomah got on the end of Rafa Mir’s flick-on from Joe Lolley’s corner to send the home fans into raptures.
Uncle Albert, cult hero, legend in the making!!!

Albert will get double figures for us this season

Hopefully they saved some of their breath for the second because they doubled the lead ten minutes later, Adomah turned from scorer to provider, lofting up a cross to the back post, where Lolley was on hand to head past the despairing Derby goalkeeper.
U Redssssss!!! Ain’t nobody like Joe Lolley. Mint ⚽️⚽️⚽️

Matters were wrapped up with just over ten minutes to go, although it wasn’t a goal you’d want to write home about. Actually, given it’s against your bitter rivals, it might be one of those goals that go down in history, especially because of who scored it. After a bit of pinball in the box, the ball ricocheted off the leg of Joao Carvalho to put the game beyond doubt.

Having been injured since the start of pre-season, it was a fantastic moment for the Portuguese playmaker and the Forest fans into delirium. Looks like he made the right call by starting him, let’s hope for a few more down the road.
All that was left was for Forest to see out proceedings and celebrate one of the all-time great nights at the City Ground.
Absolutely dominated

Clean sheet too – what a squad! Great to see things coming together. Fingers crossed for another home draw in next round!
