Lots of Nottingham Forest fans exploded with delight over reports that suggest manager Sabri Lamouchi is in talks over a new long-term deal.
The French tactician arrived at the club in the summer after taking over from the dismissed Martin O’Neill – transforming the Reds into promotion contenders.
We currently sit fifth in the Championship table, 10 points behind West Bromwich Albion in second and five points ahead of Bristol City who are just outside the Play-off places.
Will Sabri Lamouchi sign a new contract?
Yes
No
With nine games still to play and with football currently suspended, it has given us time as a club to focus on our efforts off the pitch.
According to the Telegraph, Lamouchi will be rewarded for his contributions as he is discussing a new contract at the City Ground, adding that his staff and the board members have taken pay cuts.
Predictably, supporters were ecstatic about the update and made their feelings clear on social media. One fan said that this “instantly made his day”, while another described Lamouchi as a “miracle worker” after the job he has done since the summer.
