It’s good to keep getting this sort of recognition.
With another clean sheet under his belt, Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Brice Samba has been named in the EFL Team of the Week.
To be honest, I’m not fussed about the clean sheet, I’m just glad he got mentioned because it gives us a chance to see his reaction to Michael Dawson’s block from the weekend, which for me stands out as one of the funnier moments so far this season.
So what do Forest fans do when they see their number one has picked up the accolade? They took to Twitter to show their love for him. I think it’s fair to say he is quickly becoming one of the most popular players in the current Forest squad.

Whilst the guys above seemed to be concerned with who was in the team, these people were rather concerned with who didn’t make the team.
Daws has been robbed. How can Furlong be in there and have conceded 2 against Huddersfield? #nffc

I suppose when you’re on as good a run as Nottingham Forest are, it’s only fair to be upset that there aren’t more people getting some recognition. It is a team game after all, and this run of success hasn’t all been down to Samba.
