Are there a couple of cracks just starting to appear at the City Ground?
There were some questions before the game when the team was announced, and when you end up throwing the game away in the way that Nottingham Forest did, there will always be questions about whether or not they could have been more convincing in their play.
Speaking after the game Forest boss Sabri Lamouchi tried to put the focus on what the team were able to do in the second half, putting themselves into a winning position only to be pegged back in the dying minutes:
“The second half was much better, defensively and offensively and the attitude was totally different. A draw was logical.”
However those words didn’t seem to go down incredibly well with the Nottingham Forest fans, as they responded to the manager’s words without much enthusiasm. Indeed, a number of them seemed to be incredibly furious with the Frenchman for his tactical decisions both before and during the game as the reason that the club ended up coming away with one point rather than just three.
Being 2 1 up with only minutes left a win would have been more logical 🙄but, glad for a draw given the poor tactical approach in the 1st half

But, let’s not hide from the fact that your team selection and formation were completely inept and inappropriate. What’s logical is that we got better when we put our better players on the pitch.

What’s logical is to start your best team

A certain forest manager used to pick his best eleven from the start

Does Lamouchi deserve a new contract?
Yes, he's done enough
No, let's wait a little longer
So long as these don’t become too regular, he can have a few off days like this, but too many and all of a sudden that race for promotion becomes a lot harder
