It certainly does paint a pretty picture.
Having started off the season so well, with the ten game unbeaten run giving Nottingham Forest a great platform to build off, things kind of took a bad turn with the defeats to Wigan Athletic and Hull City.
However they’ve managed to turn that around with the victories over Luton Town and Derby County, so now things are looking a little bit better than they could have been if they carried on that slump, as the Reds now sit 5th in the table just three points off an automatic spot and five points off league leaders West Bromwich Albion.
So when the Nottingham Forest Twitter account asked fans what their thoughts were at the ‘third-way point’ (I think that’s a word), plenty of fans were left excited about what the next stage of the campaign had in store for them. In fact a couple of them were quick to point out that things could end up looking even better if they were to win the rearranged game with Reading when that eventually rolls around.
It’s a great start, more to come. We are being quietly effective without dominating teams. I like the counter attacking system, think it will keep some energy in the tanks for the onslaught of the Christmas period. If in top 6 when FA Cup 3rd round hits, I think we’ll be good ????

Can’t complain, we’re well set so far ????????

Only lost to Wigan West Brom and Hull – by one goal, and a point would have been fair in each one of those.
That's maybe the more pleasing part. We're in with a shout in every game and that's without creating enough chances and scoring that

Will Nottingham Forest get promoted this season?
Yes
No
Do you think it’s too early to start talking about promotion just now?
