These Nottingham Forest fans have been drooling over the club’s latest post which showcases former Reds’ striker Robert Earnshaw.
The former Wales international spent three seasons at the City Ground and racked up an impressive tally of 43 goals and five assists in 110 games, the second-longest stint of his club career after Cardiff City.
On the club’s official Twitter account, Earnshaw’s birthday was commemorated with a compilation of some of his goals in Garibaldi down the years.
Is Robert Earnshaw a Forest legend?
Yes
No
The Welshman thrived at Championship level, with his Forest career being one of his most successful segments. Imagine him playing alongside Lewis Grabban today, an exciting partnership.
Unsurprisingly, supporters were salivating over the footage and made their feelings clear on social media. One fan went as far as saying that Earnshaw is the “best striker we have had since Collymore”, and not many would argue against that. Another fan labelled him as a club “hero”.
I loved Earnie

Lethal finishing. Loved him and Blackstock as a front 2.

That goal at 1.13 was against Cardiff I think. Must be one of the best games of football in recent years, was like a basketball match

For me Earnie has been the best striker we have had since Collymore, the guy could score all types of goals for fun
Van Hooijdonk probably the only one that would come close, it’s a tough one #nffc https://t.co/mj6pWdrv2B
