As Forest squeezed past Brentford at the City Ground on Saturday, the Reds made it ten games unbeaten in the process, underlining the superb start to the campaign made by Sabri Lamouchi’s men
Forest have pushed on since an opening day defeat to West Bromwich Albion to secure 22 points from the next 30 available, leaving them second in the early Championship standings, behind the Baggies on goal difference.
Reds supporters are loving life under Lamouchi, who has built a committed, but talented unit in a short space of time, and fans are appreciating the ‘all for one’ attitude currently being shown by their side.
Though, on paper at least, Forest, perhaps, don’t have the hugely talented squad or resources of others, Lamouchi has forged a side equally adept in defensive and offensive quarters – one who’s unit is worth more than the sum of its parts.
After years of mediocrity, and as their side’s form continues, fans showed their pleasure at the current situation on Twitter. Here’s what was said:
Quality performance today from everyone and it needed to be! πππ

Many Forest fans commented on the team spirit and togetherness on show at the City Ground right now.
Some very solid performances yesterday. Spine of the side is really solid with sprinkles of flair and pace around the sides. Few more goals required but couldn't ask for much more. Onwards and upwards #youreds

Feels good finally having a great keeper again, weve been missing one ever since Peter Shilton

Good teams have a strong spine and ours is the best I've seen for years. #itshappening

Whilst others feel Lamouchi has put a strong spine in place throughout the team, including impressive goalkeeper Brice Samba.
