It’s becoming a bit of a habit amongst Forest players.
We talked last week about how fans were lauding Joe Lolley for his block from a venomous shot during the Swansea City game. Well, looks like we’re doing the same again, but with a different man in the spotlight this week.
This time it’s the turn of club captain Michael Dawson. Although ideally, you don’t want to see this happening too often, if you’re having to make a lot of ‘last-ditch’ tackles, that means that you’ve probably messed up somewhere in the build-up. That doesn’t mean we can’t stop and enjoy them whenever they do happen.
This particular block came with forward Mallik Wilks bearing down and goal and was more likely to find the back of the net than the Swansea effort last week. And there were plenty of Forest fans who were ready to show their appreciation for the effort that he put in on order to keep that clean sheet.
Awesome Dawson!

Although for these fans, it wasn’t the block that was getting the most attention. That went to goalkeeper Brice Samba and his reaction to events.
Samba's legs ???????????? priceless

It's the reaction from @samba_brice that makes this absolute gold ???????? #nffc

As good as this block is, I can’t help but laugh at @samba_brice as he assaults Daws in the heat of the aftermath ????
