Stealing the limelight.

In a game that contained four goals, two of which were incredibly impressive from Sammy Ameobi, and which featured two team battling near the top of the table, it would take something special to take the attention away from the game.

However, that’s exactly what the referee managed to do in this game, with some rather questionable decisions.

Highlighted by the bizarre call of awarding the visitors a penalty for, well I don’t know exactly what he gave it for, as well as his decision to book Carl Jenkinson early in the second-half despite what looked like a legitimate challenge.
