Loads of Nottingham Forest fans have been voicing their concerns about the rest of the season after the latest update regarding club owner Evangelos Marinakis’ condition.
The Greek business was diagnosed with coronavirus on Tuesday and made the announcement on his Instagram. However, Daniel Storey posted on Twitter (via @danielstorey85) that Marinakis had been to meet the players before Friday’s 3-0 defeat to Millwall.
Do you think Forest's games will be played behind closed doors?
Yes
No
This could put Saturday’s trip to Sheffield Wednesday at serious risk. With the fear of the virus spreading, the game could be postponed depending on whether any of our players have contracted coronavirus from the owner.
With this in mind, supporters were stunned by the latest update and made their feelings clear on social media. One fan simply said “wow” and voiced his concerns about the implications going forward, while stated that Forest are always so unfortunate.
That explains our performance. #rematch

Forest are always so unfortunate. Could work out though, Let’s cancel our games and get Sow and Silva fit.

Wow. This could have implications for the whole season. The whole division. Not important compared to the potential health implications of course, but still.
