You reckon Kenny Burns is starting to regret saying this?

Back in the summer, the former Forest legend made quite a bold claim about striker Lewis Grabban.

“If Nottingham Forest are serious in their quest to finish in the Championship’s top six, then they should sell Lewis Grabban and replace him with Dwight Gayle before the transfer window closes.”

Needless to say, things haven’t exactly gone the way Burns thought they would. Grabban has made an impressive start to the season with four goals in Forest’s first five league games. However things really kicked up a notch on Saturday though, as he scored two very good goals against a Fulham side that some pundits think are highly likely to be promoted.

In the aftermath of the game, there were a lot of Forest fans who were quick to take Burns to task over his article, and they let him have it with both barrels.

At the end of the day, I can’t get too mad at Kenny, he made a prediction, and it looks like he may be wrong. We all make mistakes, so it’s not like we should be crucifying him for it.
