Plenty of Nottingham Forest fans have been reacting in awe to a clip of our 4-3 victory against Ipswich Town during the 2002/03 campaign.
The Reds were in with a real shout for promotion to the Premier League that season and this win kept those dreams alive, with Marlon Harewood being the star of the show on that day in Norfolk.
He scored a brilliant brace for us to take his tally to 21, along with goals from John Thompson and an own goal from Richard Naylor sent the City Ground faithful home happy.
Can you see Forest getting promoted this season?
Yes
No
We would go on to reach the Play-offs but were unable to topple Sheffield United in the semi-finals and lost 4-3 at Bramall Lane after a 1-1 first-leg draw.
Despite this, supporters were delighted to see footage of this exciting game and made their feelings clear on social media. One fan described the game as “amazing”, while another blissfully reminisced about the occasion and simply commented “what a day”.
What a game. Werenβt we 3:0 down? John Thompson was immense. Got to be his best Forest performance. New attendance record at Portman Road too (after changes)

I was there spoke to @JohnThommo1981 at Notts marathon about it. He remembers it well as do I. One of my favourite games.
