Itโs getting tantalisingly close right now, you can almost taste it.
With the restart of the Championship season a just over two weeks away, teams are entering the final stages of their preparation for the big occasion, and part of that involves getting out on the pitch for the first time in a few months.
Nottingham Forest players recently took to the City Ground pitch as part of their training regime, and boy does it feel good to see them back where they belong once more.
Given that Forest havenโt had the best of home records so far this season, perhaps theyโre taking a leaf out of West Hamโs book from when they moved ground, doing it so the players could feel more at home ahead of the restart, which hopefully should give them a bit of a push when the action gets underway again.
Will Forest at least be in the playoffs when the season is over?
Yes
No
And it was a sight to behold for Forest fans on social media, as they rushed to social media to comment about how good it was to see them in some form of action at the City Ground again.

What about you? What do you make of this idea of training at the City Ground?
