Report: Alexander Milosevic may have found a new club days after leaving Nottingham Forest

|

According to Daniel Kristoffersson of Expressen, Alexander Milosevic could re-join AIK Solna in January and has been training at his former club just days after leaving Nottingham Forest.

He’s had a nomadic career, playing for Vasalund, AIK, Besiktas, Hannover 96, SV Darmstadt 98, C. Rizespor and Forest, but Milosevic is now on the hunt for an eighth transfer in ten years.

The 27-year-old left Forest by mutual consent after falling down the pecking order in the East Midlands, having made 12 appearances in all competitions. Sabri Lamouchi has preferred Joe Worrall, Michael Dawson, Tobias Figueiredo and Chema Rodriguez at centre-back since taking over from Martin O’Neill.

Milosevic is working hard to earn himself a return to AIK, but rules dictate that he can’t rejoin until the New Year. In his first stint with Gnaget, the centre-back was sold to Besiktas in 2015. His second stint saw him released on a free transfer at the end of December 2018.

The Swedish international has made 119 appearances for AIK (February 2011 – January 2015) (February 2018 – January 2019) and could be having his third stint at the Friends Arena if he rejoins in the next transfer window.
