Nottingham Forest without six players for Birmingham clash, new signing doubtful

Nottingham Forest have confirmed they will be without six players for Saturday’s trip to face Birmingham City – Tendayi Darikwa (suspended), Jack Colback (suspended), Michael Dawson (hamstring), Michael Hefele (Achilles), Tobias Figueiredo (leg) and Sam Byram (knee) are all out. New loan signing Molla Wague may also be out of action as he’s had a calf injury that has kept him sidelined for two weeks.

Darikwa has one game remaining on his suspension while Colback’s ban comes as a result of him picking up 10 yellow cards. Dawson and Figueiredo remain sidelined which will force Martin O’Neill to make changes at the back – Yohan Benalouane and Jack Robinson may partner each other in the middle against Birmingham.

Forest could go within two points of the playoffs places in they come out on top at St Andrews. The Reds are coming off the back of a win over Wigan Athletic and should fancy their chances against a City side who have gone five games without a win and have dropped points in three of their last four home outings. Time will tell what starting eleven O’Neill picks for Saturday’s clash.
