‘Not worth it’ – 62% of polled fans don’t want Nottingham Forest to sign 27-year-old

Jordon Mutch is currently available on a free transfer after being released from Crystal Palace on January and should have a lot of offers from clubs at the lower end of the Premier League and higher-end of the Championship.

The 27-year-old was recently loaned out to Vancouver Whitecaps and went on to make 18 appearances for the MLS outfit before returning on December 31. Palace didn’t want to keep him and now he’s available to sign.

Forest fans don’t want him at the City Ground, however, with the majority of polled voters wanting the Reds to turn their attentions elsewhere. Despite Liam Bridcutt and Ben Watson’s future being uncertain, supporters don’t want Mutch to come in a potential replacement.

The former England u21 international made 40 appearances in all competitions for Palace, spending the majority of his final two seasons out on loan at Reading and Vancouver. He has a lot of Premier League experience and was playing regular just weeks ago so he should be close to match fit.

It’s unknown if Forest will make a move for Mutch, but supporters have made their feelings clear regardless.
