Once again Colin Calderwood put out a strong side in the second of three games in Scotland. But the Reds went down 2-1 in the friendly with Dunfermline.

Once again though, Junior Agogo failed to get on the pitch, which suggests he’s not quite there yet in terms of match fitness. The club were hoping to give him a run out in the game against Kilmarnock, but he never made it.

It was a good opportunity though for the likes of Roberts in goal, Bastians and Sinclair to impr4ess. It was Sinclair who grabbed the Forest equaliser after Burchill put the Pars in front. The Reds were looking comfortable for a draw, when in the 88min, Morrison got the winner for Dunfermline.

Calderwood used 19 players in the game and will have seen enough from the youngsters on show to find out if they will be worthy of the squad in the coming season. Sinclair according to reports has definitely caught the managers’ eye, having bagged three goals in pre season so far.

Forest travel to Motherwell on Saturday for their final game in Scotland, before coming home.
