Let’s give a big hand to forum member Apocalypse for taking time out and answering the questions. If you would like to take part, then send your request to forest@vitalfootball.co.uk.

1 – How long have you been following Forest and what got you started?

Ive followed forest for 28 years(since i was 7).Before that i was a Liverpool fan but that was due to pressure from an older brother. Then one day a mates dad mentioned
he was a forest fan and he was cool so it seemed a like a good thing to do at the time.Worked a treat at home because my dad and sister are rams fans!!

.
2 – What is your most memorable moment as a Forest fan? Good or Bad.

Des walkers own goal against spurs in the cup final and Des walkers own goal in the playoffs against the blades. both equally heart breaking. cant separate them

3 – Since you have been following Forest what would your Best Eleven be? And who is your all time favourite player?

GK- Marco Pascolo!lol not. would be crossley he made his fair share of clangers but his shot stopping at times was breathtaking
RB- Gary Charles very underrated shame how things turned out for him
LB- can only be one cant there. Stuart Pearce proof that hard work and passion can get you places. awesome.
CB- you’ll never beat Des walker!! own goals aside brilliant
CB- tough one for second center back but id go for Dawson just ahead of Salvatore Matrecano!!!

LM- Ian woan Andy Reid and commons had/have a lot to live up to. would have gone for Bryan Roy but he wasnt with us long enough
CM- Roy Keane
CM- Lars Bohinen i thought he was class
RM- Steve Stone another hard working player

ST- Nigel Clough vision and passing to match the best.kept the ball on the deck just how dad wanted it
ST_ Stan Collymore could have and should have down more in the game. had everything bar the right attitude

favourite ever payer would be Stuart Pearce.

4 – What is would you say is the best goal you have seen Forest score?

cant remember the year but i think it was against spurs in the fa cup. Ian woans 2nd free kick from a tight angle on the right hand side of the box

5 – Best away ground visited?

Old Trafford takes some beating

.
6 – What are your thoughts on the proposed new stadium?

Be sad to leave city ground but we got to look to the future. can only be good if it brings in more revenue. just hope the design is right and the atmosphere is good

7- Are you pleased with the new signings made so far and is there any other player you would have liked to have seen us sign (realistically)?.

Very pleased. i think Cohen and Davies could really be the lift we have been desperate for and to have a wide right player who is comfortable there is a god send. if lennons legs hold out he could be the signing of the season
and i think Lockwood was an astute signing. it looks like we have actually signed some players who can play the ball on the floor and it seems good times are ahead this season.calderwoods signings for forest so far have all
been positive and now all he needs to do is transfer that into his tactics. i would have liked to see a striker come in and a right back too. think we missed out on Adam Boyd and i think izale McLeod would be a good signing
for any team outside the prem and i would think we would have a real good chance of getting him

8 – What are your thoughts on how last season ended and how did it compare to your expectations ?

Obviously going out of the playoffs, but i think we did well to get that close with what we had. I haven’t been happy with the squad from day one in this league and have never subscribed to us having the best squad in this league. megson made some bad signings and last season calderwood did a good job with what he had. he is a tad negative but to be fair to him the majority of his squad last year were defensive not offensive players and you have got to play to your strengths. to make the playoffs was a good achievement in my eyes. if we had kept one of agogo or Tyson fit then maybe it would be different but to be fair our weaknees was in midfield and we did get found out in the second part of the season.obviously calderwood saw this too and he has made this his main area of rebuilding.

9 -Despite the new signings, are there any areas in the side you think need adding to?

Up front we need another player and i would like to see some cover bought for the right side of midfield. hopefully some of the younger players can make a step up and that would be enough i think. obviously any good players
signed would be a bonus in any position.i think we will have enough if we get a striker in.

10 – Where do you sit at the City Ground?

when i can get there i sit in the Brian clough stand. boring i know but u get a good view and i go there to watch the football not sing songs.
