It all could have been a lot worse if it weren’t for this rather important moment.
Whilst many Forest fans were left rather disappointed with the fact we only managed to get a draw out of Sheffield Wednesday in our first game back after the restart, if this had gone in then there might have been real hell to pay.
Forest managed to get a 1-1 draw up at Hillsborough, however with things still at 0-0, Joe Worrall made a very important block on the line to deny Kieran Lee and keep the scores level and could ultimately have been a game-changer if that had gone in.
Is Worrall a future Forest captain?
Yes
No
So when the club put out this video showcasing what a tremendous block it was, it gave fans a great opportunity to pile praise on the 23-year-old defender, although there were a lot of people who felt he shouldn’t have needed to be in position to make that block in the first place.
Great block… Poor keeping.

Unbelievable block but in truth player should have buried it and it’s poor keeping.

Very lucky the first header didn’t find the back of the net but to be fair, I think Samba would’ve been there to block the second attempt too. Doesn’t change the fact Joe Worral is a legend tho ⚽️ 🙅🏼♂️

Brilliant. Worrall and Figs should have had some help last 5 mins. Should have brought Dawson on to make a back 5.

What about you? What did you make of Worrall’s block on Saturday?
