Jorge Grant signed for Lincoln City permanently over the summer while Tyler Walker joined on a season-long loan, and the two players have really impressed at Sincil Bank. Grant & Walker were regulars under Danny Cowley and remain indispensable under Michael Appleton, and the statistics reveal the pair have been Lincoln’s top performers this season too.

As per WhoScored, Walker is City’s top scorer with five goals in 11 appearances. The 22-year-old has also made one assist. Grant is City’s top creator with five assists in nine appearances – only Marcus Maddison (6) of Peterbrough and Liam Feeney (7) of Blackpool have managed more. The 24-year-old has also scored one goal for his troubles.

Lincoln are currently 11th in League One with 13 points from 11 games, having lost four of their last five, however. Their last league win came against Fleetwood Town on August 31. Since then, Lincoln have picked up one point from five games and have scored just three goals.

Only four clubs have conceded more goals than the Imps and they’re currently closer to the relegation zone than the summit too. Grant and Walker will no doubt be hoping they can help to turn things around quickly, starting against Sunderland on Saturday.
