Whilst there’s no real football on for us to be watching, this is the next best thing.
And in all honesty, when you get games like this, I don’t mind real football being delayed another couple of days if necessary, just give us more of this.
For those of you who might have missed it, Nottingham Forest and Joe Lolley are through to the last eight of the EFL Football Manager Cup after a thrilling game between us and Mansfield Town that featured as many as three red cards for our opponents and plenty of goals disallowed for offside for us as we defeated them 9-8 on penalties.
As Lolley himself joked “if that’s not repeated on sky sports classics for the next 20 years there is no justice.”
Are you struggling to cope without any real football to pay attention to?
Yes
No
And the Reds fans certainly agreed with him on that sentiment, as they piled in with not just praise to the forward for getting us through, but also commenting on just how bizarre the game itself was.
Uneventful game then

Unbelievable, Mansfield 3 red cards … Forest 4 goals chalked off … and about 600 penos in the shootout … Lolley marches on
