Forest were dealt a double blow on the injury front this week, with news that striker Robert Earnshaw and on loan keeper Iain Turner were out for the season.

The BBC though, is now saying that both could make a return before the end of the season. That’s a big surprise especially regarding Turner, as he had reportedly broken his toe and returned to Everton.

The prospect of having top scorer Earnshaw back early will be a welcome boost for the club and fans alike. His 16 goals this season have made his £2.65M fee more than worth it and he in particular would have been sorely missed. The game at Coventry at the weekend may be a little early for him, but he did sound upbeat when talking to Radio Nottingham before the game with the Blunts on Monday.
