Against Swansea, the 22-year-old amassed 90 minutes of playing time, made 65 touches, created three chances, won two aerial duels, completed 64% of his 39 passes, whipped in three crosses with 100% accuracy, made one tackle, drew one foul, made three interceptions and three clearances.
Since joining Forest from Benfica in July, Ribiero has gone on to make three appearances in all competitions, two of which came in the EFL Cup against Fleetwood Town (August 13) and Derby County (August 27). He impressed in the competition but still found himself behing Jack Robinson in the pecking order.
As per Transfermarkt, Ribiero had been an unused substitute against West Bromwich Albion (August 3), Leeds United (August 10), Birmingham City (August 17), Charlton Athletic (August 21) and Fulham (August 24) while being left out of the squad against Preston North End (August 31). But Lamouchi finally gave Ribiero his chance in the league and wasn’t let down.
Forest next face Barnsley on September 21 and the Portuguese u21 international could keep his place in the side.
