So did everyone enjoy the international break?

We all excited to be back to club football? Well after today’s result, it’s pretty safe to say it was worth the wait.

Possibly the biggest shock of the afternoon came when the teams were announced. Despite being crowned player of the season and getting off to an OK start this term, it looks as if that hasn’t done Joe Lolley any favours when it comes to team selection as he found himself on the bench, which left these Forest fans rather stunned.

Forest had the better of the play in the first half and managed to create a couple of chances, the best opportunity of the half falling to Lewis Grabban, but despite the visiting side’s dominance in terms of chances, the game went into the break goalless.

The second half sadly wasn’t much better. Perhaps it was a case of the irresistible force meeting the immovable object with two in-form teams just cancelling each other out, however with five minutes to go the deadlock was broken as Alfa Semedo scored his first goal for the club.

All that was left was for Forest to keep the Swans at bay for the last couple of minutes and seal what could be (even though it’s early in the season) a crucial three points against the league leaders.
