Tottenham midfielder Oliver Skipp is a summer transfer window loan target for Nottingham Forest, according to a report from The Evening Standard.
Having graduated through Tottenham’s academy, Skipp has now gone onto make 23 appearances in all competitions for the club’s senior side since the start of last season.
According to the latest reports however, the 19-year-old could now be set for a temporary exit from the club, with Spurs manager Jose Mourinho said to have reluctantly agreed to let the midfielder head out on loan for next season.
That is something that Forest look to be keen to take advantage of, with the club thought to be interested in a move for Skipp, along with Premier League duo Southampton and Burnley, and Championship rivals Fulham and Reading.
Skipp’s potential means he could certainly be a useful signing for Forest as they look to challenge for promotion next season, and taking to Twitter to react to this news, plenty of the club’s fans appeared excited by the prospect of seeing the promising young midfielder at The City Ground for the coming campaign.
Here, we take a look at what some of those supporters had to say.
Be very nice, but if Southampton, Burnley etc are showing interest then I’d say Mourinho would want him playing premier league to championship

Can’t see it happening. Hope I’m wrong.

Can’t say I know much about him, but appears the correct direction. Some good players linked in January. Nowhere near signing any of them in the end.

We’ve tried PL youngsters, can’t remember anyone since John Terry being excellent. We need experienced Championship players like Grabban/Watson but more skillful. Then we might have a chance.
