The BBC have confirmed, that Forest striker Dexter Blackstock will be out of action for up to two weeks.

Blackstock limped off the pitch in the 1-0 home win over Barnsley last night, with a strained medial knee ligament. The news isn’t as bad as feared though and is a better prognosis than some have with the same injury.

Although the news is a blow to the club, manager Billy Davies does have other options available to him and can choose between Joe Garner and Dele Adebola to fill his boots.

Dexter is currently the top scorer for us, with 6 goals from 15 starts this season. He’s been one of the more regular starters under BD’s rotation system, but the fact we have 6 strikers will come in handy for once.
