Nottingham Forest travel down to London this weekend to take on probably the only manager in the league more disliked than our own Billy Davies. While Forest will be looking to continue their excellent run of form, Palace’s form couldn’t be more erratic with 4 wins, 4 defeats & 4 draws in their 12 league games.

Billy Davies on Guy Moussi

‘He goes and forgets himself for a few seconds and gets a second yellow card. I’m gutted for the lad because I thought he came in and did very well again tonight.’

Crystal Palace Team News:

Freddie Sears, Stern John and Claude Davis all made their comebacks from injury in their defeat against Leicester City at the weekend which sees them at pretty much full strength.

Player to watch: Darren Ambrose

With four goals & an assists to his name in 12 league games Ambrose will be looking to control the game for Palace.

Nottingham Forest Team News:

Long tern injury victims Julian Bennett & James Perch are still ruled out & have been joined on the sidelines by top scorer Dexter Blackstock. Last seasons top scorer Rob Earnshaw is also ruled out while Nathan Tyson is an doubt after being taken off on Tuesday. Guy moussi will also sit out this game as he serves a suspension for celebrating in the crowd.

with arguably 6 first team players out for this match we’ll see how strong the Forest squad is after strengthening it over the summer.

Player to watch: Wes morgan

With 4 clean sheets in 5 games & only one conceded in those games big Wes will need to be on top form to deal with the long balls hammered forward in typical Neil Warnock fashion.

Match Facts & Stats

There have been 42 league encounters between these two teams with Forest holding the advantage of 18 wins to Palaces 12 with a further 12 games drawn.

Ref Watch:

Graham Horwood of Bedfordshire in the referee for this game who last took charge of a Forest game in the 2 – 2 away draw at Bristol city last season when Lee Camp saved a last minute penalty. He also gave a penalty to Wolves when he last took charge of a Palace game.

He will be assisted by David Rock (Hertfordshire) and Oleksandr Saliy (Middlesex)

Fourth Official Barry Holderness (Essex)

Match Prediction:

I’m going for a 1 – 1 draw, but wouldn’t it be just like Warnock to bring an end to our current run.
