Tyson Crocked Again

Nathan Tyson returned to his goalscoring best today and got the only goal in the 1-0 win over Swindon. It will be the last we see of him for some time though, if his injury is as bad as feared after limping off in the 74th minute of today’s game.

It’s feared, that once again he’s sustained damage to his hamstring, but will undergo a scan on Monday to find out the extent of the injury. He’s no stranger to the treatment room and has worn out the nickname of ‘sicknote’ so much so, that he’s now known as ‘glass legs.’

Calderwood told the official site. ‘Nathan is the sort of player who goes on goal-scoring runs and we hoped that would be the first of many. It looks as though he has got a hamstring strain and will be out for a minimum of 2-3 weeks.’

Hopefully it won’t be as bad as we fear, but if the worse does happen at least we now have Agogo back from his travels and Holt has finished his suspension. There is also Hoskins to call upon and the new boy McLeary who we have yet to see. Either way it’s bad news for Tyson and we wish him well.
