Two More Head Out Of Forest

Goalkeeper Dimitar Evtimov and Jamie Ward have both completed loan moves away from Nottingham Forest today.

Academy graduate Evtimov makes the move to Portuguese side SC Olhanense on a loan spell that will last for the remainder of the 2016/17 campaign.

Ward has made the switch to fellow Championship side Burton Albion, and he too remains with them until the end of the current campaign.

Having arrived at the club as a free agent back in the summer of 2015, the Northern Ireland international made a total of 37 appearances last season across all competitions, and he contributed four goals.

It’s also being reported that Lars Veldwijk would like to mutually terminate his contract tonight to enable him to make a move elsewhere with reports that Belgian side KC Kortrijk want him.

Those reports seem to stem from Voetbal International with ongoing speculation that a loan move to either ADO Den Haag or FC Utrecht could be sanctioned.

With two more out, whether that suggests another incoming or two in the next few hours – time will tell.
