Q – How long have you been following Forest and what was your first game?
Hooked since 1962 – home to Sheffield Wednesday. I was 5 and had badgered my old man to take me to the ground the other side of the river because he was a Notts County fan!

Q – What are your most memorable moments as a Forest fan? Good and Bad.
Being there for both European Finals – no matter what that feeling can never be taken away. I had to watch the two playoff games with Yeovil on TV over here in the States and go back to work afterwards……………elated after the first and dejected after the second. Blackpool was bad, Swansea was disappointing but Yeovil at home was the pits! In terms of human disaster around a football game I will never forget that day at Hillsborough.

Q – Since you have been following Forest, what would your best starting eleven be? And who is your all time favourite player?
Man! So many great players………Shilton, Anderson, Pearce, Walker, Hennessy, Robertson, O’Neill, Newton, Storey-Moore, McKenzie, Collymore. Subs: Baker, Clough Jr, Metgod etc etc etc.

All time favourite is Duncan McKenzie.

Q – In your opinion, what is the best goal you have seen Forest score?
Just for wow factor the mazy dribble by Drunken Duncan against Man City in the Cup – the year escapes me as I write this.

Q – Best and worst away ground visited?
Best – always loved Highbury and Wembley (the old ones) and have been to so few of the new Stadia. Worst the old Den and the old Valley come to mind.

Q- Which player(s) would you like to see us sign this summer (realistically)?
I’m going to be like Jom and skirt around this……just 7 or 8 quality additions one of which will be a REAL Left Back and a couple of decent strikers (Maynard of the ones talked about so far). I would also like to see Moussi back – I think he has a lot more to offer.

Q – All seater stadia. Good thing, or a bad thing?
Don’t like them….think they are a product of the Nanny Society but since I was a regular in the old Trent End my love for the terraces is no surprise.

Q – What are your thoughts on how Forest did last season and how did it compare to your expectations?
They exceeded my expectations and were clearly a more complete team than the previous season. We came close and in my opinion we were one again let down by our failure to carry enough quality in depth.

Q – What are your expectations for next season in the Championship/Where will we finish?
Tough question. With the existing squad and some youngsters mid table. With 7 – 8 quality additions (Including a Left Back) we will be top 10……the right players and we will be contenders again.

Q- Was it right for the club to sack Billy Davies?
I think it had to happen because the atmosphere at the Club had become toxic and was beyond being fixed any other way. Had he been treated properly I would say he would be the man to get us promoted.

Q – What’s your opinion on the appointment of Steve McClaren and will he bring success to the club?
Probably better than I could possibly have anticipated when they fired Billy Davies – I just hope that this time Doughty is going to actually back the Manager and allow him to manage………but I’m not holding my breath.

Q- Acquisitions Panel. Good thing or bad?
In so much as this kind of structure exists in every Club it is good but done the Forest way and with the obvious influence wielded by Pleat it is at the root of all of our problems.

Q – Where do you sit/stand at the City Ground?
I don’t – it is a tad expensive for me to get to games so I avail myself of Fox Soccer Channel, Fox Soccer Plus, ESPN or the Internet as often as possible. I still have fond memories of the old Trent End……

Q – Name the celebrity whose back doors you’d most like to smash.
Entering into this territory is filled with danger – you either end up sounding old or like a dirty old man……NO COMMENT!
