It was always feared it would be the case, well at least this was the view of Nigel Doughty last week, but Forest are ‘set’ to miss out on Wayne Routledge.
The Newcastle winger is expected to complete a £2m move to Swansea today.
With wages of £25,000 p/w Forest were unable to match this and the vision of the clubs future was not enough to convince Routledge to accept less.
Speaking of Swansea its being reported that they may return with another offer for Lee Camp, although this will again fall well below the £4m (minimum) that it would take to convince Forest to sell the keeper.
