Q – How long have you been following Forest and what was your first game?

Since 1959. First game at CG, lost 4-0 to double winning Spurs to confirm bottom of table position. Great. But we bounced back and finished a creditable mid-table.

Q – What are your most memorable moments as a Forest fan? Good and Bad.

Beating Everton in the 1967 quarter final at CG. Hurst, an Everton thug, kicked Joe Baker out of the game (and finished his career effectively) half way through the first half. Behind twice, Store-Moore scored a hat=trick, we won 3-2 and it was the best atmosphere I’ve ever known at the CG. Great night out afterwards too, Everton fans were good that day, top sportsmen.

Q – Since you have been following Forest, what would your best eleven be? And who is your all time favourite player?

van Breukelen, Laws, Hennessey, Burns, F Gray, Hodge, McGovern, Keane, Robertson, Collymore, Storey-Moore.

Heartbreaking leave-outs include: Gemmill, Newton, Baker, Lloyd, Walker, Clough, Stone… the list goes on and on.

Favourite player has to be John Barnwell, fat, slow, incredibly intelligent passer of the ball – I identify with two of those so much that I just have to choose him.

Q – In your opinion, what is the best goal you have seen Forest score?

Away to Arsenal in the 6th round of the FA Cup, late eighties (89 I think) defending the edge of our box, comfortably, Walker tackle, slipped to Clough, surgeon’s knife through to a sprinting Rice, GOAL!!!!! – 4 seconds, lightning fast thinking, clinical execution, the hallmark of Cloughie’s Second Great Side.

Q – Best and worst away ground visited?

Best: Anfield, funny, friendly and sporting (the fans, not the Liverpool managers who always whined when they didn’t win against us)
Worst: St James’ Park: badly dressed, ugly and aggressive – even the 60 year old farts in the upper tier were throwing cans and bottles at us. (We won 2-0 and they got relegated. Bosh!)

Q – What are your thoughts on the proposed new stadium?

Brilliant, though will shed a tear over the old CG.

Q – Which player(s) would you like to see us sign this summer(realistically)?

Shorey.

Q – All seater stadia. Good thing, or a bad thing?

Good thing, I’m quite old.

Q – What are your thoughts on how Forest did last season and how did it compare to your expectations?

Brilliant, first season in seven I’ve been able to feel proud of them.

Q – What are your expectations for next season in the Championship?

Challenging for a play-off spot, depends on who Nigel lets us buy. We won’t get automatic without at least three major signings, the current lot have been sussed out by the Championship’s better teams.

Q – What League position will Forest occupy at the end of the 2010/11 season?

Between 2 and 8, depending.

Q – What’s your opinion of Billy Davies and what he’s done at NFFC, since his arrival?

Stroppy little sod but good at his job. A football man, as they say.

Q – Acquisitions Panel. Good thing or bad?

Can understand why after Platt screwed us so badly but might be time to show some trust now. We won’t get the job done without it.

Q – Where do you sit/stand at the City Ground?

East Stand when I had a season ticket. Brian Clough stand whenever I’m in England.

Q – Name the celebrity you would most like to bang.

Too old for my wishes to matter one way or another!
