I think the opening lines of the article in The Nottingham Post summed things up pretty well, get Lee Camp talking about the topic of England and you cannot shut him up!

The Forest keeper had plenty to say in an interview that is said to have gone on, on the topic of England keepers, for at least half an hour – and when you read this through on The Nottingham Post, click here, you see why…

Camp defended Rob Green, who came in for a shed load of abuse following his mistake against America at the world cup, as he can obviously relate to him and just how much focus is paid to mistakes made by keepers, which are often very costly.

Views on Fabio Capello, and how he conducted his assessment and selection of his England keepers was also looked at as was David James and how he did – along with thoughts for the future, and where England go in this department.

Clearly from this interview the guy has a huge passion for England and his aspirations to play at this level shine through. It is an interview well worth reading from a guy that clearly talks the talk off the pitch to back up his performances on it.
